the external sidestream ETCO2 module is the ideal solution to meeting your capnography needs. It
features advanced technology for measuring ETCO2 and respiratory rate, and is capable of delivering
crisp and accurate CO2 waveforms at respiratory rate up to 150 bps. This external sidestream ETCO2 module is designed to perform just like other high-end sidestream
ETCO2 modules; such as the internal MicroStreammodule (manufactured by Oridion) and the external
LoFlosensor (manufactured by Respironics/Philips). Specifically, it does not require the use of a messy water trap (a source of contamination) and it samples
respiratory gas at a very low rate (i.e., 50 mL /minute). It is ideally suited for use on all patients; from
adult, pediatric to neonatal patients, in a variety of clinical settings such as emergency medical service, procedural sedation and ventilation monitoring of intubated patients. The Model C300 ETCO2 module is completely self-contained and does not need to
take up any space in the host device (e.g., patient monitor, mechanical ventilator and
anesthesia machine).
Other advanced features incorporated in the C300 module are listed
as follows:
* ● Enhanced sensor performance with an onboard barometric pressure chip -avoiding erroneous
ETCO2 readings caused by error embedded in the host device.
* ● "Auto-Zero" - no need to manually remove sampling line from breathing circuit to
"zero" the sensor
.* ●Wide operating temperature range (5º to 55ºC) - adaptable to more challenging
environmental conditions.
* ●Designed to automatically recover from unintentional fluid ingress - reducing
downtime and need for factory service.
*● Configured to be fully compatible with existing external ETCO2 modules in the
market - minimizing development effort in integration.
* ● Reasonably priced consumables - affordable "cost of ownership" anywhere in the
world over its lifetime
